CARBON-FIBER TOE: Featuring left and right asymmetrical, non-metallic carbon-fiber toes that are 15% lighter than steel. These boots meet or exceed ASTM F2412 and F2413 M I/75, C/75 EH standards, providing reliable protection and comfort.
WATERPROOF: Equipped with KEEN.DRY, a waterproof, breathable membrane liner that keeps your feet dry and comfortable. The Independence 8” Composite Toe work boots also feature a mesh liner that integrates with the waterproof membrane, ensuring no water seeps in.
TRACTION: Oil- and slip-resistant outsole that is lighter and more durable than rubber. A 90° heel (5/8") provides stability, helping “catch or lock” the foot in place. These boots meet or exceed ASTM F1677 Mark II and ASTM F2913 standards.
SUPPORT & COMFORT: KEEN Luftcell air-infused, PU midsoles offer weightless comfort. A nylon shank provides midfoot support and superior torsion stability. Moisture-wicking textiles help keep your feet dry, ensuring all-day comfort.
